FIRST.  When you purchase products from knotted expressions, we collect the personal information you give us, like your name, address and email address, to complete your orders and keep communication with you.

We don’t share your personal information with anybody unless you specifically allowed it; we don’t sell your personal information to anyone; and we won’t ask for your personal information unless you need to purchase a product from our store or want to receive communications from our new products, events or ongoing sales.

SECOND: When you purchase a product from our store we collect the following information and we will use it only as described herein:

a. Account Information:  This may include your name, phone and email address and it will be required if you want a custom order of your products.  We will need to communicate with you to be sure we will deliver what you are asking for.

b. Payment Information:  When you purchase a product in our site we use Stripe and or PayPal for the transaction. Stripe and/or PayPal uses and processes your payment information in accordance with Stripe’s Privacy Policy/PayPal Privacy Policy. We don’t store your payment information, other than your zip code and country, which we require for billing and to comply with tax and other government regulations.

c. Communication with us: If you have a question, want a custom made order or need to return an item, you will need to contact us and provide us with your email address.  We want to be sure that you are satisfied with our product and we will maintain those communications so we can resolve your inquiries and/or assist you.

d. Cookies: SquareSpace platform uses these and other technologies to remember your preferences and improve our services. 

THIRD. Our store is hosted on Squarespace.com. They provide us with the online business platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. SquareSpace complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union to the United States (“EU Personal Data”).
